Monday Required Reading. Also known as Tuesday Required Listening. It's still Monday in most of the country though, so I'm saying this counts. In case my minor obsession with Phil Kaye, or my love of Sarah Kay hasn't tipped you off, I'm just going to come out and say it: I've become a lover of spoken word poetry. There is something about having poetry spoken aloud that makes it even more beautiful. So, here's another poem for y'all to check out. Rives is just fantastic, and Kite is one of my favourite pieces by him. The ending is strikingly beautiful. So, take a break for 2:55, and give it a listen.
